 Distressing An effect to make the furniture look aged or less-than-perfect using sandpaper or a paint stripper. |
 Sand Thru A technique used to make furniture appear slightly worn around the soft corners and wood drawer pulls. |
 Fly Spec Small specs of slightly different contrast often found on European styled collections. |
 Dry Brush Hand-brushed step with other techniques that creates a distressed antique effect. |
